About DogBreedersDirectory
DogBreedersDirectory is an independent directory of dog breeders, run by DogBreedersDirectory. It is not owned by, or paid by, any dog breeder. Every listing is free.
Where listings come from
Details come from each dog breeder’s own public website and social pages, and from submissions sent with our form. We record the source and the date each listing was last checked or changed, and show that date on the page. We do not publish ratings or reviews, and we never invent hours or prices: when a fact is unknown the listing says “Not listed”.
To fix a mistake, use the add or update form. Closed dog breeders are removed.
Basic and Verified listings
Basic listings are free. Their details come from public sources (the dog breeder’s own website and social pages) or from a submission, and each shows the date it was last updated. The dog breeder has not confirmed a Basic listing with us.
Verified listings are coming soon, and no listing is Verified today. When they open they will be paid: before we label a listing Verified, we will check the parent dogs’ health-test results with the public OFA database (ofa.org), and confirm the details with the owner. Verified listings will be shown first, with a one-line note saying so wherever that happens.
